Waves for every level on two coasts
Sri Lanka's two monsoons mean there is surf somewhere on the island for much of the year.
From November to April, the south coast around Weligama, Mirissa and Hikkaduwa has gentle waves for learners and reef breaks for improvers. From May to September, Arugam Bay on the east coast delivers long right-hand point breaks for experienced surfers.
