The journey begins on the Kalpitiya peninsula, then turns inland to ancient Anuradhapura, Sigiriya and Kandy before crossing the hill country to Ella and continuing to Yala and the south coast.

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport and transfer to nearby Negombo to rest after your flight.
Transfer north along the coast to Kalpitiya, with time on the beach.
A day on the Kalpitiya peninsula, with the chance to try kite surfing or take a trip on the lagoon.
Transfer to Anuradhapura for an evening heritage visit.
Visit the ancient city sites of Anuradhapura, then continue to Sigiriya.
Visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress, then transfer to Kandy.
Visit the Temple of the Tooth and the Peradeniya Botanical Garden.
A scenic transfer through the hill country to Ella, stopping at viewpoints along the way.
Enjoy Ella's sights before travelling on to Yala.
Travel to the south coast at Polhena, near Matara, then continue to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure. This is a long travel day, so the timing depends on your flight; we plan it with you before you travel.
